Our variety of seasonal feathered game is sourced responsibly from local game dealers in the North East and North Yorkshire and is butchered in-house by our experienced team.
Carefully selected for quality, our traditional game birds offer a complex and rich flavour which is delicious when pan-fried or roasted – a great alternative to chicken!

Fur Game
Rich & earthy fur game
We supply seasonal wild venison and rabbit in our butcher shops, offering our customers fresh, healthy and delicious alternative meat sourced from the local area.
Due to the natural diets of the wild game that we supply, the meat is lean, low in fat and a great source of protein.
Venison
Delectably lean, our locally-sourced venison has a distinctive flavour and can be slow-cooked for a wonderfully tender result. We also supply premium venison fillets and saddle cuts which are beautifully juicy when cooked medium-rare.
Rabbit
Rabbit is a lean meat which is high in omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin B12. Low in cholesterol, rabbit is a healthy alternative to chicken and is ideal in traditional stews, comforting casseroles, curries and pies.
